THIS SITE IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION...

With over one-half (with estimates ranging as high as 2/3) of all American Indians living off-reservation, the urban Indian population is arguably the largest federally unrecognized Indian tribe in the United States.   Urban Indians generally have more in common with each other, in terms of their daily lives, than they have with their home tribes: more than a million and a half people without a voice, without the opportunity for a unified voice.   Urban Indian centers hold the key to a unified voice for urban Indian America, with the Internet being possibly the most practical key to making such a voice possible.   This site will strive to provide the information necessary as a first step.
